Union Ball'05 was GREAT!!!
haha.. i really dunno where to start.. but mi and Les were dressed as Kong Hwa Sch PRIMARY KIDS!!(The sch my sis's studying in).. WooHoo~~ we actually managed to grab clothes that fit us.. what a sight?! and we were dressed as KIDS in public.. the dinner was held @ 'The Legends' @ Fort Canning Park and the stupid taxi driver had to drop us at the bottom of the park..making us travel all the way up displaying ourselves along the way.. but we were early anyway so we might as well 'pat-toh' a bit..

'Oh Goodness Gracious Me!!!' the whole ballroom was filled with BEATIFUL PEOPLE in their smart suits. leather shoes, gorgeous gowns and heels.. some in pretty bohemian skirts and we are in uniforms?!(that's our table theme and the only OG with the most 'creativity'..worse still..primary uniforms with big backpack and sch shoes!!) even trips to e toilet were filled with stares.. haha.. but what e heck? Just have Fun! and i DID!!! our table was awarded the Best Dressed table annnnnddddd... GUESS WHAT?! me.. as the 'BEST DRESSED FEMALE'!! and i won myself a $100 CLINQUE Gift Set! Hee.. the catwalk was super duper embarrassing! i dunno where to look.. so many faces.. so many judges and so many cameras.. haha.. guess it's e 1st and ONLY time i became a model on stage(but a 'tat-glam one) but definitely something to be remember=D=D and Lester was one of the best dressed male nominee as well..but Damn it! i was 100% sure that he'll win hands down.. hearing from all the cheers and judges high marks..(i was screaming my lungs out) but dunno y it's awarded to some 'ulu lanka' contestant! i was already @ e side of the stage intending to go up and take a couple winning shot if he grab tt title.. but well.. anyway.. he walked away with a movie pass and a moment to remember;P.. the rest of the night was spent eating and Snapping photos! lots of them.. hehe.. shall present PHOTOS of Union Ball 2005.. Ooo!! and our dear ZhenRu from our OG swept away almost all titles! and she's our MISS NUS 2005!!! pretty lady but when she's off camera.. hehe.. she also a bit 'xiao-ding-dong';p

I've catch a couple of shows for the past 2 days i.e. Wedding Crashers and The Maid.
Wedding Crashers: this show is hilarious tho' i'm a bit turned-off towards the end of the show.. but the front part is really funny and i remembered Lester almost choking on his sushi.. It's a movie to watch if u wanna just relax and have a good laugh..it certainly helps to unwind my wired up mind:) I like the main actress.. *forgot what's her name but she looked drop-dead gorgeous!
The Maid: This show is very much talked about these days. The movie crew put in much effort trying to instill the fear among the movie-goers i.e. placing life-size ghost manequins in cinema toilets.. I must really applaud the storyline cos i really think this is one of the better movies produced in Singapore. The sound effects are good and it provides the much needed suspense for a horror show.. It's not that that of movie that leaves u feeling clueless at the end of the show or those movies with a weird twist at the end of the story. It's not that fantastic but it's a 'Can-Watch' show but watch it on a weekday if u must cos' it's not worth $9.50..
Alright.. that's all for now.. a short entry for today got quite alot of stuff to do later.. ahahah.. my Union Ball is 6 Hours away... yeah.. i'm getin' excited!! must remember to take my camera along later on.. haha.. Laters!

I'm On my feet agin.. Phew! I've been having the runs since Tuesday.. My goodness dear me.. dunno wat stuff i ate.. the next few days were spent lying in bed..Bloatedness..Vomitting..Diarrhoea..Fever..Stomachache.. TERRIBLE bout of food poisoning! Medication did not help matters much.. i couldn't even stand up for long before feeling nausea again.. hiz.. and i missed out lots of stuff this week..
Firstly, I 'pang seh' zhiying again for tue dinner.. really felt very guilty.. cos i'm e one who asked her out for a talk and i postponed fr last fri to this tue and i couldn't make it again.. Thanks for being so understanding and accompanying me to the Doc!
Secondly, i intended to catch 'The Maid' and 'The Wedding Crashers' with Les on weekdays before tut officially starts next week and we'll all get busy with lessons again.. Weekend shows are juz not worth $9.50/tix!
Thirdly, i missed quite a bit of lessons on Wednesday and Programming happens to be on wed.. and when KT passed mi e notes yesterday.. i noe i'm going to die BIG TIME this time!! WHAT'S [range("A1").Font.Bold=True.] , [range("A1").formula="sum(A2.A3)] etc????? i heard they are commands u type into cells.. NOW what IS a Cell?! i'm gettin' cold feet frm this geeky module and hey! it's the 1st Lecture :s I'm scared...
Also.. quitely sadly.. i'm unable to attend Tjen Sin's farewell BBQ party and send him off.. Till next time we meet then.. Take Care fren:) study hard!
On a brighter note.. i'm feeling more energetic now.. feeling accomplished cos i had a busy morning.. i finished a novel i.e. ' Love and Meatballs" :) The title sounds girlish but it's not! It's Family, Romance, Legal conflicts and Humour all mix into one.. I forgot wat's the author's name but she's frm Seattle(haha.. dun tink this helps) the storyline is like a movie plot.. so i was visualising all e scenes as i was reading:) On top of that, i also changed my bedsheets, mopped the floor.. aannd!!!!! Washed the ToIlEt!!! Ahhh~~ i smell clean air;p Clean room=>Hygenic Environment=> Healthier Body
Alright.. enough work for a girl who has just recovered.. i shall sit back and be a couch potato for the time being.. Tutorials tml!

Tjen Sin's back:)
My good old Friend.. was really happy to see him yesterday.. e last time i saw him was like 7/8 months ago.. how time flies(i realised i'm using this phrase more n more often as i grow older)
Anyway, we met up yesterday.. [feel kinda bad tho cos he was supposed to meet up with his other frens but i'm only free yesterday:s] haha.. We were practically playing hide and seek e whole of yest! He came over to NUS find me.. and by e time he reach i'm on my way home(cos we r supposed to meet in e evening in town. When i reached town, he was still in sch and had to drop by Raffles Place to settle some stuff so i tot i shld go find him so tt he dun have to travel 'bout but i ended up in Raffles City instead.. i went up to e MPH to browse at some books and waiting for him @ e same time and he ended up at e wrong MPH (CityLink outlet) we finally met @ 6.. haha.. confusion!
We din noe where to go so we loiter ard Marina Sq.( i was trying to show him e new layout of M.S. but i ended up lost myself=p) so we asked our way ard.. He mentioned tt e movie 'The Island' was recommended so we decided to catch e show:) but M.S. and Suntec dun have e show n e next one is 9.30@TM.. I wAS like: aiya forget it.. i still have morning lessons.. but he was damn insistent and HE ENCOURAGED me to skip lesson if i have to.. in e end we bought dinner and cabbed back to his hse and eat and chit chatted all e way till 9.. by e time we realised e time.. it was too late.. we had to cab down to TM and were JIT..damn hardcore la..'The Island' is a FANTASTIC show.. kinda action packed and full of Excitement! but dere are some disturbing contents tho~ Try to catch it if u can cos it's ending soon.. it's a really nice show:) The show ended ard 12 and we missed our last bus/train.. and YES! Cab again.. but we tot since we missed e last bus.. might as well hang out a bit later so we took a slow walk along e MRT line to Simei before cabbing back.. i was totally shagged out when i reached home.. and NO.. i did not skip my lesson today:)

I finished the book on Thursday:) It's rEaLly a Marvellous book.. It keeps me entertained throughout.. I'm really keen on reading the 'Shopaholics' series but i couldn't find any in the library.. i may consider buying them=p but provided i've the spare $ after buying my textbooks=D
Went Jam 'n' Hop yesterday and met lots of familiar faces.. Saw Meifen also! ( e ger with e same bday as me=>) We used to be pretty close.. chatted with her for quite a while:) She's a really nice person to talk to and i've always enjoy our chatting sessions.. hope to meet up with her VeRy soon! anyway the Jam 'n' Hop was pretty borring.. (Maybe it's juz Me) but i really LOATH loud Music.. it makes my heart feels weak with all the loud drums and screams into e microphones.. i cant even make sense wat e hell they are babbling about.. i'm only there to see e paegent preview(to support one of my freshie).. i reached dere ard 7 plus.. and e paegent only started ard 10?! and it ONLY LASTED barely 10 MIN!!! i felt damn cheated.. haha.. i tot there'll be some semi-finals contest or sth.. but nvm.. e night out is not that bad anyway cos i'm updated with loads of gossip from e Psycho Gang [my orientation group] (as usual.. i'm one of e last to know.. cos i always MIA their outings.. haha) But Les is still e last to know cos he more MIA than me.. haha.. but no choice.. we both have our own commitments..
Oooo.. and Union Ball is coming up again!!! this 27th Aug.. I'm Soooo looking forward.. our table theme is School uniforms.. haha.. and the girls were thinking of wearing Jap Uniforms.. Nice idea.. i mean.. Jap uniforms are soo KaWaIi!!! hehe.. but i dun tink i wearing tt cos if everyone wears tt.. it'll be so unoriginal.. hehehe.. i've tot of sth else;D;D;D but dunno whether can work out not.. haha.. it shall remain a secret for the time being.. Look out for e photos after e Ball.. I'm soo excited!

I've got the book! I've got the book! 'The Undomestic Goddess' by Sophie Kinsella :) Met up with Shuhui and YY yesterday for a show i.e. Bewitched.. Critics: The show is generally quite borring.. maybe it's the actor.. But Nicole Kidman is AbSoLuTeLy CooL!! Love her!!! totally CHARMING! i guess i watch e show mainly cos of her.. But e Show.. is not a MUST-Watch show.. catch it if u have e spare$$ Charlie and the Choc Factory is not bad..(tho~ i heard alot of bad critics) i left the cinema feeling like a child:) Johnny Depp is a freaking GooD actor.. A must-watch show for Chocoholics!
Anyway back to e book.. it's really nice! i can read and read w/o feeling bored.. and i'm halfway through it already.. hehe hope to finish it by tml:)
Sch's really quite exciting so far.. met alot of familiar faces!! on e road.. during lectures.. i still love studying!!! but i must learn to be more punctual for my lessons tho.. haha.. for my first lesson.. i'm late for almost 40 min and the lesson ends 20 mins early.. and during e 1 hr lecture.. i kept chatting away also.. so it defeats e purpose of going sch on Monday.. haha!! it's more of bonding session..Tue was a PH:) and on Wed.. i was late again for 30 min.. hehe.. n today is a free day again.. Sch seems to start officially for me next week~

Boredom.. i'm in Les's hostel now.. and he's sleeping.. (he din slept e whole of last night) and i dun wanna wake him up.. Juz completed a book while he's snoozing. i felt so accomplished! hah! It has been (let me tink..) 3/4 years since i last touched a storybook?! haha!! shame on mi=p
The book somehow trigger off my hunger for books.. gonna visit e library soon again.. anyway.. juz finsihed reading ' The Good Wife Strikes Back' by Elizabeth Buchan:) it's a relatively new book and it's a book worth reading! it's not too draggy.. a short and sweet novel so u wont get drifted off halfway:) guess e next book on my TO-READ list will be 'The Undomestic Goddess' By Sophie Kinsella (which is STRONGLY reccommended by shuhui) hehe.. i noe she got e book.. so i'm gonna 'kop' frm her.. couldn't find it in e library also..
Oh! btw.. when i went to Orchard to collect my pay yesterday.. e Aunty tt i've been working with for e past 2 months.. bought me a present! so nice of her.. it's a nice little pink Fila bag:) i was really excited when i opened e present.. She's a really nice lady.. took very good care of me during work.. haha.. not i thick skin but can tell she likes me quite alot.. i noe she secretly told e manager to increase my pay also cos my pay seems higher than e other part-timers.. haha! n i really like working with her too! i'll miss her:( just to sidetrack, i bought a nice polka-dotted green skirt 2 days ago when i'm feeling very lousy (i'm always very into polka-dots;P and i LOVE GREEN now!!!) hehe.. so buying tt skirt really cheered mi up.. shall upload e pic of it when i reached home!

The rain woke mi up today.. ard 9 plus i guess.. i find the rythm of raindrops to be so soothing..so calming.. e next thing i realised.. it's 12 p.m. i had a nice long sleep.. really really enjoy my snooze.. when i woke up.. it's still raining outside.. e weather is just so cooling and i simply just snuggled up in my blue comforter:) [i changed my bedsheet to checkered blue design..blue makes one sleepy] my curtains are dark yellow.. so when e light outside shines in.. the room is embraced in warm yellow.. i felt very peaceful when i just lay down on my bed and staring at e ceiling.. i'm a home person i guess:)

I officially quitted my job already.. i've till next tue to enjoy life.. [not intending to attend e 1st day of sch.. so sch officially starts on e 10th for me.. and 11th is my free day again.. yay!] i finally get to enjoy a bit of my holidays.. i suddenly feel so free now:)
