A year has come and passed again.. I cant say time FLIES cos many things seemed to have happened during 2005 but then again.. it seemed like yesterday tt I just celebrated the start of 2005.. I remembered I used to watch countdowns with my family when I was young and I was feeling very excited when the clock striked 12.. During my teenage years, I used to go countdown parties with my friends.. SQUASHING myself in the then ORCHARD CROWD, pretending to be very happy and excited when the clock strikes 12 and CHEERING like everyone else while cursing the humidity and traffic jam inside my heart.. After I entered JC, New Year is just like any other day.. maybe a special dinner on the eve.. No more feeings of excitment.. Especially this YEAR (Today is 31st Dec 2005).. In Fact, I just came back.. not from a sumptous dinner.. but FROM WORK!!! haha.. how pathetic right? but I can still go ard telling ppl tt " Hey! I was in Town yesterday.. and It was damn crowded" (It's true! i met with the Human Traffic on my way home) haha!! I'm not telling lies..
Anyway.. since it's the end of 2005 and a BRAND NEW YEAR is going to unfold itself.. I just wanna sit down and reflect on the past year and at the same time list down my new year resolutions:):) Well.. 2005 was not a fantastic year.. Some of the Negative Aspects:
1. The Ugly Side of Mother Nature.. Many Natural Disasters this year.. In particular the Tsunamis, Earthquakes and Hurricanes that hit America..
2. Almost 1 Murder Case every month this year.. It scares me to think that human mind is not that innocent after all.. The world actually breeds such vicious beings.. What actually went through their minds during their acts?
3. Diseases and diseases.. i.e. Bird Flu, sudden surge of DENGUE cases..
On a more personal note.. I experienced many emotional Ups and Downs.. Mostly due to stress from School.. (i'm an easily stressed-out person..) I've also lost touch wth many of my friends.. On top of that.. I cant seem to find time for myself or for my family.. It's always work and study..But.. in the end.. i dun seem to achieve anything significant this year.. which is kind of sad.. Although I studied hard for my exams.. the results dun seemed to reflect the amount of hard work invested which is kind of disappointing...
haha.. I sounded a bit Pessimistic Don't I? but.. a brand new year signifies a BRAND NEW START!!!!! in the year 2006.. i HOPE TO...
1. Make some time for ME MYSELF and I:) I wanna draw and compile a book of my scribbles.. I wanna waste my time in COFFEE BEAN and read magazines.. I wanna run at least 2 times a week (I may be skinny.. but those areas where i still have some meat are hanging real loose! haha.. MaChiam soft like MarshMallow..)
2. Read @ least 3 books a month (not referring to TEXTBOOKS) Books are not tt boring..... It cultivates the mind and soul:)
3. Spend more time with my GIRLFRIENDS.. (Everyone needs friends)
4. Eat more often at Home.. (Home cooked food tastes the best!)
5. Spend more time with my family...
6. TRAVEL!!!! (nonono.. Malaysia not counted!)

It's 26th DECEMBER again.. Twelve Months since YOU first HELD my hands.. it's was such a MAGICAL moment and it still is whenever you hold my hands... HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SWEETHEART:)
Today was a WONDERFUL day for me.. even though it was just so SIMPLE:) It's because I've You beside Me... Thanks for the lovely SURPRISE You've given me.. I knew you have put in great effort with the help from my mum (AGAIN) hahaha!!! I'm sooooo SoRRY i cldn't give you your PRESENT in TIME (I'm really too tied up for the past 2 weeks..) but looking @ yours.. I've decided to modify mine=P
I bought a Birthday cake for a mini celebration when the clock strikes 12 midnight:) **Mango Cake** Your Fav. This time.. It looks pretty:)

BEFORE LUNCH: He bought me a CHIP and DALE 1000pc puzzle.. The board behind is a Self-Made frame for the puzzle with our photos taken in each respective month.. Nice HANDWRITING! I din noe you can be so CREATIVE.. I've met my match...
AFTER LUNCH: The Challenge Begins..... FIRST we sort out all the corner pieces so that we can work our way inwards.. and SORTING those tiny pieces among a mountain of similar ones is simply not a laughing matter... We overlooked some corner pieces and have to keep filtering the mountain of pieces over n over again...
One hour after LUNCH.. YAY! we've got the FRAME done..... but it's far from completion~
While Les was busy sorting out other pieces... I PIECED TOGETHER the pair of LADY BUGS!! so lovey-dovely:):)

yup~ anyway.. we went to watch The Chronicals Of Narnia.. It's a NICE SHOW!!! (tho~ i still prefer King Kong) but it'll be nicer if the witch dun die that fast.. haha.. (the war could have been longer) The creatures are fascinating!! and there are lovely sceneries inside~~ I really enjoyed the show.. the little girl's acting is AWESOME! Hmm.. after the show.. I headed back home cos' Les got a night meeting..(I noe you are feeling guilty for not being able to spend the night with me.. but I'm really more than happy to spend so much time with you today.. THANKS for making my day=D)

It's Christmas!!! Merry Christmas to all.. May there be Peace and Happiness everyday:)
Came back before the clock strikes 12 today.. maybe cos i'm gettin' older.. so i dun see the excitment in Countdown parties anymore.. what's more important is that i spent quality time with my loved ones.. Requested for an off day on the eve so that i can spend time at home..
Woke up early today to wrap presents!!! hahaha.. it's kinda last minute... cos Work has been keeping me occupied for the past 2 weeks.. so much so that i dun even have time to shop for Christmas presents.. (it's kinda sad tt i've to shop during my Break Time which means to say tt i dun even have the luxury to rest my tired feet during the pathetic 1 hour break=<) and 1 thing tt i simply dun understand is that as a staff of Takashimaya.. we are not allowed to purchase items (anything found in Ngee Ann city or anywhere else) and bring out of the building w/o authorized pass form the managers..if not u will be deemed of theft! (YES! even when you have edvidence of purchase i.e. RECEIPTS!) tt means that those %^$@#! security guards will only let u out of the Staff Exit if you are able to obtain a signature from managers tt approved you of your purchase... What the H***?! it's my money leh!!! ya... so anyway my point is tt... since during this Christmas Period.. everyone is soooooooo BUSY!!!! the managers dun have the time to entertain a small fry like me.. and soooo my shopping were done only yesterday and i only have the time to wrap my presents this morning (Referring to 24th).. so many to wrap... i too lazy to cut the wrapping papers.. i just TEAR!!! HAHA!! but i was feeling very excited when i was wrapping them tho~ i love to give (and RECEIVE) presents=D (For those who din receive any frm me... i'm really sorry.. my budget overheated this year and i really dun have the luxury of time to shop ard..)
anyway.. after wrapping presents.. went Zhiying's house for some catching up session.. Her hse soooo damn messy.. cos Painting-In-Process.. and i keep kana-ing paint on my body.. She juz came back frm BangKok and she was showing me pictures from her trip... I also wanna GO!!!!!!! the things are soooo freaking cheappppp.... (she bought a pair of earrings for like ONLY 1 BUCK?!) and she bought me a tin of Loackers all the way from BangKok la!!! hahaha!! soooo LAME!!! and a pair of BirkenStock (fake one but looks damn real!) with green floral designs.. and i kopped her ear ring stand and panties since she got extra... haha.. i noe i very thick-skinned cos i ask her" eh u want anot.. dun want i take AH!" haha.. but nvm la hor.. we so shou le.. We chatted until my mum called to ask me home cos i din bring keys and she wanna go out soon..
I bought this for Zhi:) so CUTE!!! i got one too! Twin Frog Ring cos she always say we tink alike like TWINS... but i dun wanna look like her... muahahaha!!!

Went home and washed up before going Taka again to pass presents to my colleagues and meet up with Les to buy his cousins' presents.. and after that we were rushing like mad cos his Friends make a dinner reservation at HOOTERS (Yes! the place where there are BIG BOOBS*Winkz*) at 6.30p.m. was kind of looking fwd cos i wanna see ........... hahaha!! In the end we were super late cos Town is sooo damn crowded and the underpass from taka to wisma is like JAMMED! so by the time we reached Clarke Quay.. it was bout 7.30p.m. The restaurant was freaking cold and i kept wondering why those skimply dressed waitresses wun feel cold AH?? maybe cos they have high level of Body Fats.. hahaha!!
We ordered 20 pcs of Spicy Chicken wings as starters.. (1 small drumlet and the wing considered as 2 separate pcs) so tt means we only ordered 10 pcs and it cost like 20 over bucks and it tasted *BLAHHH* tasteless one!! and i ordered Grilled SnowFish with Butter Garlic and Wedges and Salad... So-So only lah... cos the SnowFish's kinda tough when it's supposed to be very tender... and the bill comes up to $210 for 7 people... tink abit the overpriced leh cos the service not tt Fantastic also..( those top-heavy girls are soooo slow in their service... by the time we finished eating.. it's like 9 plus liao..) hmm... but 1 plus point bout the place is that the ambience is quite nice (as in there's Christmas Mood) i like the decor also:):)

my REST day again today:):) but chose to rest today cos meeting up with the girls tonight!!(talk bout this later..) anyway.. had a roller-coaster day today.. my day started off real bad.. tink it's due to the accumulation of late nights.. sooo i was really very shagged out when i ended work yesterday.. reached home ard 11.30 and cabbed down to Les's hall ard midnight.. i was sooooo tired that i dun have appetite for supper tho' i was damn hungry.. din had a good sleep also.. and had a little unhappiness in the morning.. partly cos i was PMS-ing also.. but i SERIOUSLY dun tink i'm entirely at fault... i dun like it when people dun practise what they preach and hope you will listen to their words and when i do likewise.. they'll juz get irritated............. I WAS REAALLLY VERY affected by it (THO~ it's a very small matter but to me it highlights a couple of things) the whole afternoon... i was SUPER PISSED off..
On a lighter note..my night ended off well:) The girls brightened up my night:) was feeling slightly better in the evening when Shu Hui, YY and Clara came to the CHOCS counter and look for me.. Yup.. i went to relieve my colleagues a while cos they were really very busy.. i helped them with the gift wrapping till almost 8pm before walking over to Heeren Marche and join the girls for Dinner.. Was damn guilty cos the 6 of them were waiting for me to start dinner! and they reserved the CHAIRMAN seat for me.. hahaha.. i was really glad that all of them (EXCEPT for HUIYI as usual..........) turned up... initially i tot only me shuhui and yy and make it.. in the end everyone turned up! PLEASANT SURPRISE!!! haha.. usually the 8 of us will meet up at least 4 times a year.. Namely: 1. New year period 2. Chinese New Year for house visiting 3. National Day to watch Fireworks together and last but not least 4. Christmas period:):):) Met up super early this year cos for the rest of the days i'll be busy working away.. *I'm really touched that they give in to my schedule.. and i made them wait sooo long somemore;p* BUT BUT BUT next year.. we'll meet at least 6 more times cos we've promised to celebrate each other's 21st birthday!=D The dinner went well and i was really happy to see Clara:) That girl blasted 500 over BUCKS! on her hair this afternoon.. WAH!!!!!! but she really looks good with permed hair cos she got a baby face.. (PERMED HAIR will tend to make one looks older..) yup.. and we took quite a no. of photos too.. *actually not many shots laaaaaa... but cos 4 of us brought along our cam.. so for every single pose we've to take 4 times.. so it seemed that we took one hell alot of photos.. haha..

CHRISTMAS SEASON is HERE!!! and everywhere is damn damn crowded!!! I'm kept busy the whole day and the only time i can rest a bit is during my break time... Today is supposed to be my rest day.. but cos' the sales is soo good.. I've to give up my rest day.. (but i dun mind also la~~ cos can earn more$$ and working means no shopping.. equals to less tendency of spurging;p) Just reached home (nearly 12!!) cos Orchard traffic is MADNESS!!! and i'm juz dead tired now..................... very very tired...
Anyway.. yesterday was my off day too.. I was supposed to work butttttttt.. i decided to take a rest la.. if not i'll work consecutively for 7 days!!!!!!! My LEGS WILL BREAK!! yup... so i went Bugis for some shopping Yesterday.. in the end i din buy much except for some useless stuff like Erasers.. haha!! (For my Grandma.. they are collectibles erasers.. soo fanciful and i noe my gramp loves collecting those...) and i BOUGHT SHADES AGAIN!!! Wa Lau.. i bought like 3 shades in total this week... Must be under the influence of Les la... He kept buying them (and breaking them also.. haha) So now i've 6 shades with me.. and all similar ones somemore!! I'm praying that there'll be SUNSHINE everyday so there's an excuse of wearing them out.. *Pls Dun Rain...* but but I LOVE the very Recent one i Bought.. cos it's super BIG!! den it makes my face looks soo small... hehe.. Retro type.. I LIKE!

I"M not KIDDING!!! i really like the show alot... haha.. i got to noe about the show frm my mum.. and i remembered laughing at her for wanting to watch a monkey show.. wasting of MONEY.. now i take back my words.. PEOPLE GO WATCH!!! and the leading actress i.e. NAOMI WATTS look almost exactly like NICOLE KIDMAN!!! guess no one will disagree with me on their resemblance.. and i like her alot too!! i was pretty amused by the many "characters" tt emerged in the show.. every minute a new creature will appear.. like the Gruesome Looking Natives (they Look one hell of Scary! their looks will give u Nightmares.... YUCKSSSSS), Dinosaurs (Hello?! at one point of time i tot i was watching the Jurassic Park.....), ENORMOUS INSECTS/EATING PLANTS etc.. all kinds of shit la.. tot the main chracter shld be King Kong ONLY.. but anyway.. they add spice to the show la.. tt explains why it's 3 HOURS LONG! but i really ENJOYED THE SHOW:):):)

Went DXO yesterday for the "QUEEN Of the QUEENS" contest organized by Seventeen.. Was supposed to go there with Les, Kaiting and Yujia.. but Les messaged me ard 6 plus telling me he cldn't make it cos of some function.. so i waited at home till 7.30 but still din get a mssg frm KT on where to meet.. so i called her.. but her phone was switched off.. so i Called Yujia.. and he told me KT was Knocked Down by a Taxi.. When i heard tt.. i was at a loss.. my heart skipped a beat and i kept tinking in my heart "Oh my God! Oh my God!" Cos i tot sth bad had happened!!! (*TOUCH WOOD!!! X 100) In the end i managed to get in touch with her... Phew~ lucky nth serious happenned.. and she wAS discharged yesterday night with bruises..
Kaiting: FOR GOODNESS SAKE.. Please Be Careful!!!! u sooOoo Petite.. small impact also can make u fly u noe! btw.. i bought A lil' sth for ya to cheer u up.. pass it to ya soon!! Rest Well GIRL:)
Anyway.. in the end i went alone for the DXO thingy and met up with the rest of the psychos there... It was super CROWDED!!!!! no space to walk at all.. and i cldn't even see the feet of the contestants let alone the faces... and my god.. the place was thick with smoke.. NEARLY CHOKED to DEATH.. so stinky.. in the end we moved up to the second level and we practically have to peep through people's legs to get a better view of the stage downstairs.. SO PATHETIC! and if the person happens to cross his/her legs.. tt's it! anyway.. ZhenRu got 1st runner-up.. and not tt i wanna criticise.. the winner really CMI!!! felt tt ZR can win her hands down.. what a pity.. tink the JUDGES R BLIND!! and just to side track.. when i was upstairs.. i overheard some super INSENSITIVE NO-BRAINER guy saying to his girlfrens (Not discretely and purposely LOUD ENUFF for everyone to hear):" hey! tink u girls shld join and u'll beat 'em hands down... Look at the low standard of the contestants..the NTU girls are sooooo UGLY & FAT and oh mi god the NUS girls are soo FAT... dunno where they get this kind of standard.. it must be that only UGLY PPL attend Camps.. blah blah....." I was like " ... another ugly Singaporean... please go look yourself in the mirror before shooting off tt STINKY MOUTH OF YOURS!"

Met up with ZhiYing today.. The moment she saw me.. she keep complaining bout her Chicken Poxy SCARS... (Aiyo.. Ms Ah Hiao.. u Look Fine lah!!! NOT as hideous as i tot to be...) haha... but seriously.. u look the same.. They'll heal in time.. DON"T WORRY!!!
We walked quite a great deal today!! First we went Bugis Village (It changed alot!!! even got CAFE upstairs..(but IT STINKS!!! haha.. dun tink i'll ever eat dere) i bought a pair of SHADES there!!! super cheap!!! $6.90 and it dun look cheap!!! haha.. what a deal!

Thereafter we walked to Bugis cos i was craving for waffle balls (for supper).. afterwards.. we walked to Suntec den to Millenia walk den to Marina Square and finally to Esplanade for our Dinner... haha.. all cos i wanna eat TOM YUM.. and i can only tink of Thai Express... and i have to cut thru so many places just to get to ESPLANADE.. just to realize tt actually there are LOTS of thai restaurants everywhere.. but anyway.. this will increase my satisfaction level when i finally get to tuck in.. Zhiying ordered the Soft Shell curry under my PERSUASION cos i want the curry sauce!!! haha.. and i ask for two bowls of extra sauce!!! it's super nice.. it tasted like Chilli Crab Sauce (thick gravy with lots of beaten egg) i like it:) After Dinner.. we walked all the way back to Bugis again.. cos earlier on.. on our way to Esplanade we pass by alot of shophouses and one of them was selling desserts.. they looked super tempting!!(If i'm not wrong.. tt's the shop recommended by KT) so we walked all the way back again.. Zhi ordered the red bean paste and i bought the sesame paste.. Hmm.. not tt bad la but not tt fantastic also.. maybe cos we r quite full liao... anyway.. there are lots of shophouses and they are sooo nicely decorated!!! a nice CHILL-OUT place:):):) after the dessert shop.. we decided to head home liao.. tho' it's still quite early.. cos tt LAZZEEE cousin of mine was tired.. But.. i had a great time today.. we talked non-stop from the moment we met.. i tink my mouth is more tired than my legs now.................

I've been shuttling from places to places for the past few days..but they are days well-spent:):) Met up with my gramps on Sun and Monday.. spent alot of time with them.. and they cooked my fav. Ba Kut Teh and steamed Cod Fish:) haben been eating Home-Cooked Food for a LoooOONNNGG Time.. *sLuRpS* i really LOVE my Grandma's COOKING!!! It reminds me of my childhood days.. feel like staying over at her place if my schedule allows me to..

Started working yesterday.. I'm with The Cocoa Trees again!!! (working at Takashimaya Basement 2) Usually my work starts at 12.30 p.m. and ends at 9.30 p.m. Rushed down from Les's Hall yesterday and tot i was terribly late when i reached at 12.45 p.m. (I'm a punctual person.. so 15 min is alot to ME) but when i reached there.. my colleague was like "Ohh.. we forgot to inform you.. you are supposed to start work at 1.30 p.m. today and end at 10.30 p.m. due to the Christmas Season.........." THANKS alot!!! i have to work an extra hour for nothing.... and SO I've to be on my feet for 10 whole hours yesterday.. But cos' of the festive season.. there are alot of shoppers (YES! even on a Tuesday~) and I was practically busy wrapping Christmas Presents yesterday.. SuPeR FuN! i love wrapping presents..(But BUT but!!! i LOVE unwrapping 'em too hehehe) It's such a joyful oCcAsIoN:):) Since young I've always hoped to own a Christmas Tree.. and have lots and lots of presents under the Tree and eat Log Cake on Christmas Day;p but i dun come from a Christian/Catholic Family so we dun celebrate Christmas every year=( Hope to have a little christams party with my girlfriends this year!) anyway.. BACK to my work.. ya.. so yesterday was super busy.. and i tink as the season NEARS!!! there'll be HAVOC!! cos chocs is one of the must-have thing during Christmas and many people will be buying them for gifts.. hehe.. so i'll be kept busy and time will seem to pass faster den! By the time i reach home yesterday.. it was nearly 11.30 p.m. and i was sooo SHAGGED OUT!!

Have to report to work later at 1.30 p.m. today again.. but i'm off tml and the day after:):) Yay!! gonna support my Friend Zhenru (Miss NUS 2005) @ DXO tml.. She's competing for the annual Queen of the Queens contest (It's a contest where 3 beauties are selected from each uni. and compete again each other) I'm pinning my hopes on her!!! cos she's really ChArMiNg~~ *wOlF-WhIsTlEs* Meeting up with ZhiYing (FINALLY!!!!!) on Friday.. maybe doing some Christmas Shopping and to pass her a to-buy list for her trip to BangKok... muahahaha...

anyway juz to side track.. I've been watching quite a no. of shows lately.. and for those who haben watch CHICKEN LITTLE... well my comment is.. ONLY WATCH IT ON A WEEKDAY!!!! the show's quite nice actually.. LUrrvVVE the little orange Alien.. It's just sooooooo irresistibly CUUTEEEEE!!! but it's a very toddler kind of show (which also means to say that.. you dun have to use any brain cells to figure out what the show is talking about...) AND when i say toddler-kind of show.. i also meant that IT'S DAMN SHORT cos young children have SHORT ATTENTION SPAN...... It last only 1 Hour 15 Min plus a bit of Trailers..(and to tink that i was Late for 15 min!) i actually wasted $1.60 of my movie ticket... hahaha~~ (makes me sound so calculating hor...) ya.. so i haben even finish up my popcorn when the lights are turned on again..(I'm barely halfway thru' and i haben even drink a sip of my Lemon Tea)
On the other Hand.. Harry Potter and the Globlet of Fire was waaaayyyyy toooo LONG.. i rated the show so-so ONLY la.. maybe cos there's a lot of Hoo-Ha created prior to the start of the show so i went in with very high expectations..the effects were quite good but i dun find any part scary at all leh.. hmm.. and my Fav chracter was RON not Harry.. cos he's so damn FUNNY! and Emma was sooOOOooo PRETTY!!!! She'll grow up to be one very FiNe lady... One reason why i din enjoy the show was cos' the CINEMA was DAMN FREAKING COLD!! i kept shivering and shivering throughout the whole show.. OH.. and another reason was cos' e MOVIE SCREEN is SUPER SMALL!! yes.. the one at GV Marina... it's sooo pathetically small.. (watching a BlockBuster on a tiny screen juz provides no KICK.. i still prefer watching at Shaw Lido)
Also watched 50 First Dates and Guess Who (by Ashton Kutcher) over the weekend... Prefer '50 First Dates' over the latter cos the guy inside is such a die-hard Romantic and the ending is juz soo touching... As for 'Guess Who'.. I was only half awake when watching that show and Ashton Kutcher or Not.. I din really catch what the show's about.. and for the rest of the shows i watched.. it's all bout La Bi Xiao Xin.. hahaha!!! it beats any blockbuster anytime.. i juz laugh myself silly when watching the series... alright.. gonna wash up and go for work now.. HOPE today will be a busy day for ME!!! i rather be kept busy den staring into space.. cos' time seems to fly~~~ TaDa.. shall update soon!!

After the phototaking session, i signalled to them to return to their sleeping position and said:" Alright u may rest again now.." AND THEY WENT BACK TO LAZING.. They ACTUALLY understood ME!!!
