i FINnAALlY having some free time to myself.. For the past few weeks.. i've been working working n WORKING..and my free time is always taken up.. it's not tt i dun like spending time with family or friends.. but i really treasure some quiet moments to myself at times doing the things tt i enjoy.. Hmm~~ what shld i do today?
- Feel like reading some books (which i haben been doing so for e past 2 yrs.. SHAME ON ME! ha!)
- BAKING!! my all-time fav.. wat else? but bAnAnA Walnut muffins=D=D
- Cleaning up my room (hehe.. but this will be e last on my to-do list;p)
- Doing some shopping therapy(my InTeReSt) and maybe shop for my mum's prez.. i've got a sudden urge to shop @ little India..
- or!!! rent VCDs and be a POTATO COUCH (can this be considered a hobby?) haha.. i'm really keen on watchinh e new korean drama i.e. [Jewel In My Palace] but e drama is 70 episodes long!! and when i wanna watch a drama.. it's usually a marathon event.. or shld i wait till my work officially ends?

Oh.. talking bout my job.. i'll be quitting next wed.. hmm.. having mixed feelings about it.. feeling sad cos i really enjoy working with my colleagues.. they r really Nice ppl:) and also.. dere goes my extra source of income.. tho' i'm not very hard-up for cash.. but i hope i dun have to depend financially on my mum.. boo~ this also means tat i've to curb my Shopping urge..
But.. Generally i'm More HAPPY(or shld i say relieved?) than sad to leave my job.. Cos' e job really tires me out @ times and e management kinda pisses me off sometimes also.. For example, last sunday i've to work from 9.30am to 12 a.m midnight with only 1 break in between!!!(this means i was having BreakfastCumLunchCumDinner tog) Due to e company's carelessness.. the chocs promotion was supposed to end on e 24th July but they told us it's on e 31st.. as a result there were many MANY unsold goods left over in e storeroom.. and just a word fr e boss to move everything out by tt night.. we HAVE to OBEY.. and it's really every SINGLE item (mind u!) e fridge(it's a huge choc fridge), the tables, e stands,e cupboards and all e cham pa lang stuff.. and all the left over stock.. (thank u very much) we have to weigh and count em 1 by 1 and keep them into boxes (they filled up 5 big tankers.. it's really alot!!) it's damn tedious and tiring can?! and to work 15 hrs straight is really NO joke.. and wat's the company's parting words [for e promo area] :'' e promo ends on e 24th onstead of 31st.. so for the rest of e week ur schedule will be cancelled and no pay will be given.. we'll call u when ur help is needed" !!! not a single apology was given and not a single THANKS was uttered(we really slogged to help clean up e area) and when everything ended.. it was far too late and we have to cab home and they din even offer to sponsor our cab fares.. and e comment ("we'll call u when we need u") really pisses me off.. We felt being made used of.. and on TUESDAY.. due to a meeting.. my colleague had to return to office after her lunch(i'm just a part-timer so my presence is not required) and this meant tt i've no dinner break cos we'r not supposed to leave e counter empty! i've to work straight 9 hrs (fr 12.30-9.30p.m.) Wat's this?! in e end i still had my dinner..but a really quick one.. i left e place empty for 20 min lidat.. haha.. i nearly choked when eating.. but i'm not a working robot.. n 1 last thing.. they last min asked mi to work tml @ Great World cos dey not enuff ppl:(
yup.. so these are some of e instances that pisses mi off.. i'm quite relieved also cos i can really conc on my studies and more free time to myself and pend time with my family also.. so i think it's a wise choice to quit la..(e manager asked me to stay after sch starts and work on every weekend)
alright.. shall end my complain here.. btw.. i learnt to make some chocs during e choc fair promo:) heard that it's really nice fr some comments.. haha.. too bad i cant taste em myself (i'm caffeine intolerant=s)

Today's my REST day.. yeah! tho i love my job.. but i prefer slacking @ home.. planned to do some housekeeping in the morning.. but Clara called.. n when girls start toking..hehehe..so dere goes my *housework* intention.. Aussie's having winter right now.. heard tt she's going skiing for e next 2 days n she's skipping lessons tml.. soo happening!! really enjoy talking to her.. i even get to speak to sewi.. but tt girl don't even recognize my voice:( anyway.. Clara will only be coming back next Jan.. tt's like another half a year?!
i chatted with her till 1pm*i knew cos my stomach kept growling* haha.. n i ate all e way till 3.30pm before i finally decide to bathe.. haha.. In e MOOD for a haircut today so i head down to KlearCut @ Far East *Kaiting reccomended me this salon* and i hereby STRONGLY reccomend this salon to those who fancy a haircut.. the PrIcE is right and e service is gOOd!!.. i ilke my hairstylist.. He's Super funny.. but he's damn straightforward also la.. the first thing he said to me:" ey.. ur hair VERY dry leh.. u nvr put conditioner is it? u girl leh.. cannot so lazy".. initially i tot he's not being very friendly so i pretended to slp after tt but he kept toking n toking.. asking me when i stay where i work n BLaH bLaH.. after a while i find him kinda entertaining so i might as well chat with him while he cut my hair.. His skills quite gd or shld i say it's the Model tt's not bad? haha..
after tt i'm supposed to meet Zhi for dinner @ 7.45 @ bugis.. as usual.. i'm early.. so i went to buy some paus to snack.. haha.. i even bought herbal eggs for Zhi and helped her peel e shells somemore!! lucky she's not late today cos i really hate to wait.. and we had dinner @ Swensens:) n we tok until not much time left for shopping.. i managed to spot a pair of shoes tho.. it's really nice!! but i just came back fr a shopping trip.. must wait till my pocket recovers 1st.. but i cant stopped thinking of e shoes.. i can sense 'em calling out 2 me now...

I'm BACK!!! The trip was ULTRA SUPER DUPER FUN!!!!!!!Maybe cos it's a Free n Easy trip so we din waste time travelling in tour buses to those museums..temples..mountains~~(YaWn:-O) We fully MAXIMISED our 4 DAYS shopping and eating;p The night Markets are just soo Vibrant!! i like SHILIN Night Market and Shopping in XiMenTing.. oh.. my hotel is smack right in front of XimenTing..i just have to cross a small lane..(How COOL is That?!) XiMenTing is really SATURATED with ppl at night..and there are sooo many stuff to shop..very iNtErEsTiNg.. the whole place is very lively~~ We LITERALLY Shop n Eat..Shop n Eat.. I had 2 cups of BUBBLE TEA every Day=D haha.. my ultimate fantasy came true~ i Miss those pushcart food too.. a lot of 'Xiao Chi' we din even eat rice or noodles.. just feasting on those finger food is more than enough.. I love their Pushcart bbq food(they bbq almost anything i.e. chicken skin/intestine, liver balls, pork/chicken/beef, squid, Veg etc..), Carrot Cakes, Oyster Omelette and the Ah Zhong Mee Sua!!! {ShIoK} OoohHh..i bought loads of stuff too..hehe.. JEANS 3Tops Necklace 2 Pairs of Shoes 2 Bags and alot of random stuff.. and all those food stuffs including my Beloved 'Tai Yang biscuits'=p i'm Starting to miss e place=(

I'm Back frm Camp..finally have enuff beauty slp.. haha.. was totally shagged out on Saturday.. barely slept 4 hrs a day for e past 1 week.. and with all tt running and stuff.. haha.. i could barely feel my feet.. AND when i say RUN.. it's really RUN n RUN n run...
DAY 0: We, councillors were down in school for some camp preparations
DAY 1: woke up with barely 3 hrs sleep.. and the torture begins.. we played CLUEDO and ran ard e whole sch compound looking for clues.. and NUS has so many freaking slopes.. we were totally worn out at night.. after dinner.. e councillors have to put up a performance (damn lame) and we ended e day with a bit of 'tok cock' session and supper.. i cant really remember
DAY 2: POOL GAMES.. and it's e first time i'm stripped down to my sports bra and shorts.. *very PAI SEH!!! haha.. but e attention wont be on me la~ maybe onli les will take a 2nd look.. haha.. but i get used to it after a while.. night time.. we played Fright Night at Haw Par Villa all e way till nearly 3 a.m. the place is quite spooky to start with.. hahaha.. and i did some Malu things.. *shall not elaborate
DAY 3: i remembered waking up feeling sUpEr DuPeR TIRED.. to e extent tt i'm on e verge of tears.. we slept at 5 plus e night b4 and waking up at 7!!! and we were supposed to chiong Sentosa! aNyWaY.. e day went as planned.. it's e 1st time i wore bikini.. quite nice actually..except tt i look a bit too skinny.. haha~ e sun was freaking hot.. and my whole body was covered with sunblock except my lips and feet.. and as a result?! i was badly burnt @ these 2 places.. esp my FEET=( swelled like dumpling..*Ouch
DAY 4: WAR GAMES!! i din really enjoy this day.. cos i've kena a terrible EYE INFECTION (serves me rite for being lazy to wash my contacts for e past 3 days..) my eyes were really red and sollen.. couldn't even face e sun.. and i keep forcing myself to play.. in e end i played w/o any contacts/specs..*my degrees: 700+ per eye* omg.. i dunno how i got my way ard..can only sense e glare fr e sun.. and MY FEET!!! RED and SWOLLEN 2 e MAX.. so painful to walk under e sun.. i keep applying aloe vera gel.. in e end i just bandaged em and went to play under e sun..looks very dumb.. haha.. tink i a lil' too hard core..
tt night.. we went GOTHEM PENTHOUSE at clarke quay to cHiOnG.. i'm not a *Chiong-Ster* so i left after the pageant.. e freshies this yr really quite wild.. shld have seen em at e dance floor..heard tt dere's quite alot of body contact *wOlf-WhIsTlEs~~ and some were quite drunk also.. i din even drink a sip.. haha.. i onli likes my plain water and MILK:)
DAY 5: Home Sweet Home!! i reached home only ard 4 plus after lunch.. and i kept slping and zZzz.. only waking up during mealtimes..
Overall: e camp was quite fun.. i'll get a sense of achievement after every race..i cheered and cheered until my voice became like toad's..but the race was quite physically siong.. As for the freshies this year..they r quite a difficult lot.. they took quite a while to warm up and alot of 'em diff freq.. e seniors are more of a *Singlish+Mandarin+Hokkien* bunch and we are hardcore gossipers.. haha.. e freshies more towards e Ang-Moh type.. and quite wild also.. haha.. i can sense a change of ERA...
anyway.. guess my entry very long le..shall end it here.. Yeah!!! im going Taiwan TML!!!! SHOPPING TIME!! note:I'm FULLY rEcHaRgEd.. waaHhaaha.. Lester: ur legs are going to die big time..

argh~~ my life is soo hectic now!!! juz came back frm work and it's like wat time le?! and first thing when i wake up tml i've to go to a 6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS camp.. REPEAT: 6 Days 5 Nights!!! my limit is at e most 3 days.. anymore than tt i'll collaspe.. and i din even sleep last night.. InSoMiA! arg~ i'm going to suffer big time this time round.. e camp's gonna be very siong.. with all those war games pool games and beach games.. i need my rest..
hmm.. kinda pissed tt i've to work today.. 1st reason is coz i not enuff slp.. but more importantly i cant make it to Sec 3/4 Fg gathering at Wenhan's house.. i've been waiting so long for e ex-classmates gathering.. and moreover ah han will will flying to Aussie Land soon for studies.. tt means 1 less girl for the national day's girl's gathering this year;( dere's only e 6 of us left.. anyway~ i going to medidate and try to catch some rest now..e Torture begins tml.. Guess i wont be blogging for the next 1 week..
