My Day tour to the vegetable farm was FUN after all!!! @ least i'm FAR far away from my Books and lecture notes.. a good breather for ME:):) i cant even remember when's the last time i step into a farm..(did i ever go one?) hehe.. i was so excited when i reached Boon Lay..woo Hoo~ but i've to mention that the journey is Damn Freaking LONG!! e bus journey to Boon Lay alone took me ard 1.5 hrs and we still have to change bus @ the interchange cos the farm is located @ Choa Chu Kang.. And I realised that dere r so many farms in Singapore! Today feels like an EXCURSION DAY.. PrImArY ScHoOl DAYS R BACK;)

juz came back from my Management Science Mid-term paper.. what a screwed SCREWED screwed up paper! (and it's on a SaTuRdAy! wasting my time) alright.. i admit.. i only spent like yesterday studying for this test.. BUT!! even if i study hard for this test.. i'll still be clueless.. First of all.. the tutor sucks! He din even bother to upload the tutorial solutions so those questions that i duno how to do during tut (which is like 7 out of 10 qn) i still dunno how to solve them now! Plus.. the tutor speaks with an irritating aCcEnt! The stupid textbook does not even provide the relevant solutions also.. Secondly, some of the solution deals with excel Solver (and up till now.. i still have not even dl the software cos i couldn't find it).. Thirdly, the questions really very chim.. dun resemble anything like my tut questions.. which is really super demoralising! and this midterm accounts for 35% of the whole module.. DaMn It!! aiya.. but since it's over.. it's over.. i mean no point crying over spilled milk right? in fact, i'm actually feeling quite ReLiEvEd now.. guess the impact will only set in after i get back my grades.. hiz.. to tink that my IT module is the only sucky one.. argh~~ my modules this sem really very boOoRiNg.. (except maybe General Biology;>)
HuMpH~ my whole mid-term break (which has ended this thursday) was totally burnt studying @ home.. a major part of my time was spent in front of my computer vexing over my IT assignment.. The assignment so freaking CHIM la~ i tried so many times until i totally give up! i even break down and cry @ one point of time.. i was soooooo frustrated and angry.. i dunno what the h*** the question wants.. how can anyone be interested in IT stuff.. i dunno la.. maybe it's juz me.. anyway.. since the deadline is postponed to a week later.. i'm going to chuck this dIsGuStInG assignment aside first.. and concentrate on my other stuff..

3. Operations Management group project
4. APB Group Project
5. 2 indiv assignments
6. a vegetable farm to visit tml (Yes!! my Sunday is also burnt!!)

ArGh~~~ and my weekend is already burnt.. my brain is soo dead now.. i dun tink i can absorb anything later.. i've got SO much work.. i juz feel like sleeping and juz dont do anythng.. i'm super NO LIFE now.. i wanna catch a show(in fact MaNy shows~) .. i wanna SHOP!.. i wanna read a book.. i wanna cycle/jog.. i wanna do anything and everything except Sch Stuff right now.. (*i'm going to Mass Skip my lectures next week..............) Muahaha~~ tt's the only tot that cheers me up a lil'

Yesterday was Mooncake Festival:) (Forgot what's the name for it.. dun tink it's called this way..) and i DIE die also wanna go Chinatown to get the feel of the festive atmosphere even tho' the sky threatened to rain..Luckily i insisted on going cos it din rain after all~YEAH! Initially i wanna go Chinese Garden.. but too faaarr!! and furthermore this year's theme is about Safari World and Insects*BooRring.. so i'm not very interested.. (Last year's theme was Disney!!! and Journey to the west.. and it was soOoo Pretty!!)
Chinatown was soo packed with ppl yesterday!! and there's fIrEwOrKs too=DD haha.. but juz before the fireworks start.. dunno y my legs itchy den walked away(i was actually already on the bridge, viewing everything clearly frm the top).. den MISSED capturing those fireworks on my Cam.. Grrrr!! The fireworks was quite spectacular.. i din even expect there's going to be one~ Overall the night was quite 'Re Nao' tho i dun see alot of stalls selling mooncakes and lanterns.. and i din get to play lantern this year also=( cos too many ppl.. den i scared ppl bumped into mi and not safe to be carrying a lighted lantern ard (in case u r wondering y i dun take the batt operated ones, well.. i tink i've LONG OUTGROWN that*tho~ i saw a couple of aunties taking but the MAIN REASON is that.. i hate those tunes that goes on and on..... when u switch on e lantern... sooo IRRITATING!!!) Humph~ 1 thing i regretted is not taking alot of photos.. but i managed to snap some anyway~~

Was walking to the toilet this morning when i suddenly caught sight of my dying pet cactus=( i juz dun have green hands la!! It's very tiny (actually it's quite popular now.. it can act as a handphone chain or keychain) and it's fairly easy to maintain.. juz immersed the small bottle into water for 2~3 min every 7 days and placed 'em in a sunny area:)
My cactus is supposed to represent "Happiness" but it doesn't look very happy.. haha!! it looks a bit "kiau Gu" /translation= hunchback.. i tink it feels suffocated being ENCLOSED in such a small area.. so i tried to force open the top case.. and

Actually, while i was watering the plant.. i was thinking about myself.. i tink i'm very much similar to this little cactus.. we both look small and vulnerable but looks can be deceiving..The cactus dun demand alot of attention.. In fact when i over-water it, it'll just wither away.. Give it a little breathing space and it'll grow strong and healthy..Likewise for me, i may seem to be very dependent..(to a certain extent, i'm!) but i need space and time to myself from time to time.. I may look like i need protection(Most girls want to feel secure.. incl. me) but pls dun overdo it.. I admit that i'm a little self-centred @ times.. i Dunno why also.. maybe it's the way i'm being brought up (i'm being taken care of by my gRaMpS all the way till sec) so i'm being raised like an ONLY child where the world used to revolve ard me only.. I also tend to do things the way i like and i dun like to be restricted..( i noe this can be a bit selfish @ times cos i tend to overlook the consequences..) Shuhui came to crash my Lectures today:):) She may wanna apply for Uni next year so i asked her to crash my Uni to get a feel of how life in Uni feels like (and @ e same time.. try to entertain me during my lecture also=p) As usual, we were late for our 1st Lecture i.e.Programming LECT(yes! my most hated one!) haha.. she finally gets a feel of how torturing e lecture is.. totally catch no balls.. LUCKY i got KT as my interpreter;p i dun even have time to talk with her during my IT lect and i could tell from her expression that she's VERY bored(she kept asking me will e lect end soon?).. haha.. and worse still the lecture ended late! *she must be cursing inside..but I'm cursing inside also.. cos i dunno what's the lecturer talking about!
After that we rush down for my General Biology Lecture at science faculty and it's another 2-hr long Lecture..(she had to buy chocs to kill time) haha.. but this time not so bad la.. cos i was gossiping with her throughout the whole lect..(KT was helping me to take down notes=P i tink i really owe KT alot! haha..) SH left soon after the lecture cos i still have to attend a lab session so couldn't accompany her to the bus-stop..(what a bad host.. but @ least i treated her to an egg toast.. haha)

Today my lessons all back-to-back from 12 to 5.. a bit shagged after school and me n KT had a LoOong walk to e 197 bus-stop.. (cos' i wanna go Parkway) The journey was damn freaking Long also.. i almost fell asleep during the journey.. I went parkway to grab Shampoo and Conditioner (come to tink of it now.. i tink i'm very DUMB! cos i can easily get 'em from my hse downstairs! arg.. why i so stupid?!) so since i'm there, i might as well make my trip worthwhile so i also replenish my printer's ink and other neccesities..
aNYWAY, i MUST BE the laziest GIRL among all my girlfriends.. haha!! cos' all this while i've been using shower gel to shampoo my hair coz i'm simply too lazy to reach out for another cleansing gel not to mention conditioner..( well, so long as i dun stink, no one's complaining right?!) but prolonged usage seems to have undesirable effects on my hair.. haha they r sooOo dry tt when i tie them up in a pony tail, it's able to fight GRAVITY and stay perpendicular to my head (*a short and straight ponytail looks CUTE but.. a LONG and Upright one somehow just looks weird.. so nowadays i have to bun my hair up instead..) HEY! but i'm willing to amend my mistake.. TODAY i bought myself a bottle of shampoo + a bottle of INTENSIVE HAIR TREATMENT conditioner (*i want results FAST=p).. In addition, i also bought facial mask and INTENSIVE eye cream.. woo hoo~~ and i spent almost an hour bathing today!! (*kinda exhausting) hahaha.. I haben done facial for e past 2 years.. it feels so DAMN shiok!!! hope it can zapp my zits fast(*have been quite stressed out lately) now my face feels damn clean and hydrated:):) Hope i've the motivation to do this weekly.. It feels so DAMn good to binge on junk food esp. when i'm feeling lousy.. This past week has been quite a stressful one for mi..
BOO! the fun period of sch is over and mid-term break is coming.. which means to say.. MID-TERM EXAMS are nearing too.. argh! and one thing i hate bout biz faculty is tt.. there are loads of assignments and projects.. although our timetable seem more slack than other faulties but we have endless Projects.. and one thing about projects is that.. they are sooo TIME-CONSUMING!! right now i've 5 project deadlines to meet and 4 mid-terms coming up.. i can predict tt i'm going bald very soon..
Also.. my emotions are running high these few days.. i'm affected by alot of things.. family problems.. quite abit of unhappiness here and there.. kinda feeling drained.. Feel like escaping for a while to recharge myself again.. In fact, i'm @ Les's hall right now:) he's away for his hall 'Dinner'N'Dance.. so i have the whole room and the whole day to myself:):) the whole place is very quiet cos it's a Saturday and moreover it's a DND day for the hall ppl.. it feels good to be left alone sometimes.. i feel quite @ peace now:) Actually i've to attend my JC class gathering today and i feel kinda bad to reject my friends.. but i feel tt i need time to myself.. it has been a long time..
I've been doing nothing except reading newspaper and snacking=D i better clear up the mess if not his room will be insect-infested;p Right now, i'm craving for Macdonalds Ice-cream sundaes!!! i try to order ice-cream @ 2 a.m. yesterday but Mac will only deliver them in 1.5hours time.. ?!?! WAT the?..it'll be melted by then! i might as well just throw my milk into the freezer and take 'em out in 1.5 hours time.. tink they will turn solid by then also! Free-of-charge somemore! hiz.. in e end i've to eat biscuits with milk.. I MUST HAVE MY ICE_CREAM TODAY!

STRESSED!!! i'm STRESSED... i hate programming..it's sucking my blood... I hate anything that has to do with Computers(except ya.. like MSN, Blogging etc..) cos i'm JUST so NOT tAlEnTeD with IT... and this sem is my first time ever using EXCEL(i noe i noe.. it's a so-often-used software) but in the past.. our paths just neva happen to cross.. and this sem i'm taking up a PROGRAMMING module which deals EVERYTHING with tt program.. i DUnnO what's going on..HELP! In fact, the LECTURE that i paid the most attention to is this module (i din even self-declare toilet break like what i always do in other lectures..) and i dare say that i understand most of the contents during lect.. BUT but.. when it comes to tutorials.. How come all my COMMANDS CANNOT RUN?! the "Error Message" keeps Popping UP(very pek chiak!!!) and i keep checking and checking and scrutinizing every command line.. but they looks perfectly coorect to me leh!!! HOW COME?!!
ARRGhhhH~~ so i decided to GIVE UP!!! after wasting my whole nite yesterday trying to solve the tut question.. i decided to move on (Hey! i've got tut frm other modules also!!) so i embarked on my Management Science tutorial instead... !!!!!FAINT!!!!! Even this module also wanna degrade my already-so-low morale.. The tutorial solution has to be evaluated using EXCEL also!(dunno what SOLVER function.. my Excel dun even have that la!!) My NO.1 Enemy = EXCEL *stupid stupid stupid program*
Really Really pray i can get a decent grade this sem.. No more Cs for me.. must die die get a B- cos i accumulated enough Cs during my first sem (3 out of 5 modules! Check tt out!) and stupid NUS grading system is based on a cumulative basis!!! so i cant afford to screw up my grades this sem again! Furthermore.. i still wanna apply for Student Exchange Program.. and i dun want my grades to be my stumbling block:(
HUMPH!! so later i going for some IT remedial lessons @ Shuhui's BF's house.. really grateful to the both of them!!! hope he can enlighten me abit.. and hope tt i'll be a fast learner... hehe.. so basically now.. i'm quite free.. not cos i've got nothing to do.. but it's just tt all my current workload is not within my capability.. i shall relax and read my magazines for the time being.. Enjoy my free day:)

Yesterday was a rainy day.. Heavy downpour in the morning till late afternoon.. what a Nice Cooling weather esp. when i'm @ home:) My mum suggested cooking dinner yesterday.. so i might as well join her in the fun:) hehe.. i felt like of cooking sth warm and filling(comfort food on a rainy day) so i decided to cook Chicken Stew=D=D i spent the afternoon cutting veg with my mum.. kinda fun.. tho' my mum kept shaking her head when she saw me do the cutting..(a norm wheneva i try to do housework.. haha!)
Well... since i seldom cook and the fact that i Actually DID.. i shall flaunt abit about it.. maybe i should start with the recipe first..

Makes 2 Large servings
Ingredients:
2 Medium potatoes (cut into big cubes)
2 Carrots (cut into bite-size)
1 small can of button mushrooms
some black mushrooms (they r some leftover frm my mum's dishes)
2 drumsticks

Seasonings:
2 tablespoons of Oyster Sauce
1 tablespoon of dark Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon of light Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon of Sesame Oil
1 tablespoon of HuaTiao Wine
1 teaspoon of Sugar
Lots of Pepper(i like it spicy!)
Potato Starch (i dunno how much.. cos i add until the soup becomes thick.. TIP: Add a bit @ a time.. dun be Kiasu..haha!)

Step 1: Marinate the chicken with seasonings and 0.5 hour later throw EVERTHING into the slow cooker with 1.5 cups of water

ALERT:I've turned 20!!! (i used to teased my 'already turned 20' Friends that years after 20 Year Old FLIES..) Boo.. now it's my turn.. No longer a teenager.. But NOT YET an ADULT:) so i may look all GROWN-UP.. but inside me.. i'm still growing out of my childhood.. hehe;D I'm still a child @ heart! Yesterday was a splendid day(*except that it was raining e whole day..) but i still enjoyed myself.. cos it's MY day;) hehe.. shall let photos do the talking..Was snoozing in bed still when the knockings on the door woke mi up.. i chose to ignore it @ first..(tot it's some irritating salesman..) but hehe.. there's this little metal thing @ e side of the board (see 1st pic of the BOARD above, right-hand corner) it's a tiny tiny musical box.. and when u hand turn the handle.. it'll play the tune: MEMORY.. (one of my fav sentimental songs) i'm left speechless again..
