Dinner was GREAT/SUPERB/FANTASTIC yesterday.. I so so Enjoyed my granny's cooking=D hmm... must dine @ their house more often...
anyway.. I just received a reply from a job interview I went Yesterday.. It's from UOB and they have confirmed a position with me... The problem lies here... cos' when I sent in my resume a month ago (YES! I'm tt Kiasu..) I stated that I'll be having a 3 month break starting 1st May so they will be offering me a 3 month contract ending July.. BUT I'm intending to fly on the 23rd July (I've decided to fly on a weekend instead) and tt'll be a week short of the contract.. I REALLY dun feel like telling them the truth yet cos I'm afraid they will refuse me the job.. THE PAY IS DAMN GOOD!!!!! S$1700/month... U ask me how to say?! Aiyoh...... I soooooo LUAN about what to do now!!! should I say or Should I not? I'm intending to work till mid June and informed them saying that I've just received a notification that my application for an overseas programme has been approved and @ least I give them 1 month notice.. Kaiting says most of the time when u breach a contract.. u'll forfeit a portion of ya pay (Which i dun mind..)
SO HOW???? I am intending to inform them tt I've send in an application form for an overseas internship but yet to gain approval or sth lidat.. but lidat like cheating them leh.... BUT i dun wish to lose the job cos I cant fulfil my last week of work... How????
